90% of all the dollars used for the Share A Smile grants are donated by Mike and Kim Robertson of Ocean Media Inc. Because of this, Share A Smile is one of the few charities in the country in which 100% of all proceeds go to actually helping kids. Most charities have to account for substantial administrative costs. These expenses are taken care of separately.
